4 steps to beautiful, healthy skin

Healthy skin is a big deal

Your skin is the largest organ in your body, protecting you from diseases, helping to rid your body of toxins, helping to regulate your body temperature, and acting as a filter.

Neglecting your skin can encourage rashes, sores, wrinkles, and of course, acne. Unhealthy skin is also more vulnerable to diseases and infections, and is more likely to scar after an injury. If you experience skin issues, such as acne, psoriasis, or skin allergies, proper skincare is even more important.

Having great healthy skin will help boost your confidence. Everyone wants to look and feel their best, but it’s hard to feel your best when you’re dealing with a dreaded breakout!

So, what can you do to help keep your skin healthy, nourished and clear?

1. Start with your inner health

Your skin is constantly growing, so keep it hydrated by drinking plenty of water, maintaining a balanced diet full of vitamins and minerals, fresh fruit and vegetables, whole grains, and lean protein.

2. Always wear sunblock

Make sure you skin is protected if you are heading outside. Sunscreen is one of the most important ways we can help protect our skin from the damaging ultraviolet (UV) light when outside. 3. Commit to a proper skincare routine
